Mrs. Elizabeth Hermance
Elizabeth Cooper, widow of Louis H. Hermance, passed away yesterday at her home , 538 State St., after an illness of some time.
The deceased had suffered from a fractured hip which had confined her to her bed. She was 86 years of age and had spent practically all her life in Hudson, where she had made and held a large circle of friends, who learn of her passing with sincere regret.
She is survived by four sons, Thomas, Edward, William and Seymour, all of Hudson; and by four daughters, Mrs. Mary LaBrie, Hudson, Mrs. Jane Hatch, New York City, Mrs. Leslie A. Fish, Scotia, and Mrs. Edward Holley, New York City.
Her husband, a Civil War veteran, died several years ago.
