DODSON, Sammie Meade, 68, of Lexington, wife of Harry Dodson, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003 as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Mrs. Dodson, a native of Lexington, was born Sept. 18, 1935 a daughter of the late Sam and Evelyn Flanagan Meade. She was a homemaker and an Elder in Crestwood Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Mark Meade Dodson (Cyndi) and Michael Dean Dodson (Sandy) both of and two grandchildren Danielle Kristen Dodson and Alexi Kaelin Dodson. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004 at Crestwood Christian Church with the Rev. Bill McDonald and Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2004 at the church. Memorials may be directed to Crestwood Christian Church.
