Putnam Courier December 16, 1948 "Mrs. Lillian Bassett, Myrtle Avenue, Mahopac Falls, died at St. John's Hospital, Yonkers, on December 9, 1948, following an illness of only one day. She suffered from a heart attack while visiting relatives in Yonkers. For many years she lived with her family in Yorktown, and only returned to Mahopac Falls last year. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Mahopac Falls and the Yorktown Community Church. She is survived by her husband."
