Pearl E. Anderson was born Feb. 6, 1908, in Blair, OK, to Belle and Charlie Gardner. She died Thursday, Nov. 19, 1998, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, OK, at the age of 90.

Pearl married Tillman Anderson on June 4, 1927, in Hobart, OK. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blair, the Naomi Sunday School Class, the Eastern Star and other ladies' organizations.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one great-granddaughter, Julie Wright; two sisters, Clara and Jewell, and three brothers, Clarence, Tom and Chuck.

Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Shelton and husband Dale of Blair, and Bonita Ray and husband Cooper of Altus; two sons, Jerry Anderson and wife Janice of Blair, and Glen Anderson and wife Bobbie of Elk City, OK; two sisters, Helen Ogle and husband Albert of High Rolls Mountain Park, NM, and Berniece Carroll and husband Coy of Altus; one brother, W.C. Gardner of Altus; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Blair Cemetery Association or a charity of your choice.
