MRS. W. M. DRUMM
Mary Lynch, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Lynch, was born at Maryville, Mo., Feb. 14th 1852 and passed away at her home in Irving, Kansas June 1st 1921 at 12:30 o'clock, noon, aged 69 years, 3 months and 18 days.
She was one of a family of ten children, four girls and six boys. She grew to womanhood in her home in Mo. and on Jan 18th, 1874 was united in marriage to Wm. Milton Drumm. To this union was born five children, three girls and two boys. They are Mrs. C. D. Phillips of Hunter, Okla., Mrs. L. E. Fraker of Kansas City, Mo., C. E. Drumm of Bigelow, Ks., Mrs. J. R. Wasser of Maryvillle Ks., and Clarence Milton Drumm who was killed in France May 28th, 1918.
For a few years after her marriage she and her husband made their home on a farm in Missouri but in 1882 they moved from Missouri to Nebraska and the following year they moved to Kansas and located on a farm 3 miles southwest of Bigelow where they made their home and raised their family. In December 1918 they gave up the old home and moved to Irving where they have since lived. She was a member of the Methodist Church of this city.
A home is broke, a true wife, a loving mother, a kind friend and good neighbor is gone.
