Beecher Wade Huffstetler 69 of 135 Lakeview Dr., McAdenville died Jan 7 1989 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

A native of Gaston County he was the son of the late David C and Lillie Rhodes Huffstetler. he was preceeded in death by his first wife Sadie McCarthy Huffstetler and one grandson Barry Wayne Huffstetler and sister Cecil Jack Lowe

He was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Catawba Heights. He was a Army veteran of War World II and a purple heart recipient.

Survivors include his second wife Margie Neil Huffstetler Two sons Barry Michael Huffstetler of Mount Holly NC and Thomas Neal Huffstetler of Green Cove Springs Fla two step daughters Janice Adams of Gastonia and Teresa Foley of Shelby. Five sisters Vivian Liles of Mount Holly, Hyacinth Shuler of Bryson City, Atrice Morris of Gastonia, Nina Davis of Stanley and Bernice Taylor of Charlotte and 8 grandchildren and 3 step grandchidren. The Funeral will be conducted by the Rev Keith Chronister and Bill Miller at 4 p.m. Monday at Carothers Funeral Home Mount Holly.
