LAST RITES HELD FOR MRS. AMANDA HALL, FORMER RESIDENT
Graveside rites were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Rush Lake cemetery near Curlew for Mrs. Amanda Hall, 81, former resident of this community who died last Wednesday following a stroke at St. Cloud, Minn.
The Rev. Robert D. Butler of the Laurens Methodist Church officiated.
Mrs. Hall was born at Dayton, Iowa, and lived at Somers, Curlew and Laurens, and at Mora and St. Cloud, Minn. While in Laurens she kept house for an aged uncle, Gus Johnson, until his death a few years ago.
Her husband, Edward Hall, preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Russell Hall of LeSueur, Minn., and Virgil Hall of Mora, Minn.; a daughter, Lelia Hall of St. Cloud, Minn.; two brothers, Vern Lyon and Gilbert Lyon, both of Laurens; three sisters, Mrs. Gus Thompson of Forest Grove, Ore., Mrs. Charles Scribner of Winnepeg, Canada, and Mrs. Ida Grau of Curlew; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hall were held Saturday at Mora.
