Miss Edith Viola Fonda, 78, of Switzer Hill, Town of Mohawk, died early yesterday at the Valley View nursing home, Fultonville, where she had been a patient two years. A Native of Albany, she was a Switzer Hill resident since childhood. Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Ida Gifford of Fonda; three brothers, Edgar Fonda of Fonda, John Fonda of Johnstown, and Nathan Fonda of Tarzana, Cal., also several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the VanEpps funeral home, Fultonville. Rev. A. M. Eads of the Pilgrim Holiness Church, Fultonville, will officiate.
