I found the following information on Charles Henry Julian (1806-1853) on page 91 of Portrait of Early Families, Frankfort area before 1860:

Born in Virginia and came to Kentucky in 1812. Married Felicia Johnson (1833), who died in 1834. They had no children.

Charles' parents were Jane Moore Julian and Charles Julian from Stafford County, Virginia. Charles was a bookbinder who owned and operated a bookstore and circulating library on St. Clair Street. The bookstore was somewhere in the block "leading from Bridge to Capitol," from 1833-1850. Charles purchased the bookstore from his brother-in-law, William H. Wood, around 1833.
