Mr. Crew, 55, was born and reared at Wheeling, near Montgomery and was a very prominent farmer in Winn Parish for many years prior to his moving to Texas.
He leaves, besides his widow, three sisters, Bessie Crew, Mrs. Lucy Elliott, and Mrs. Maud Ally of Gueydan, La.

ALAMO - Robert T. [sic. P] Crew, age 55 of Alamo died in Ivy-McCalip hospital at 5:00 Wednesday morning after a lingering illness.
He came to Alamo from Pampa, Texas in July.
His only survivor is his wife, Mrs. Emily Crew of Alamo.
Services will be held in the Martin Nelson Funeral home in Weslaco at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with burial in the Weslaco cemetery.
