The graveside service for Kitty Greenhaw, 64, of Athens will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Greenhaw died Friday, October 9, 2009, at home.
Kitty was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She passed after a courageous battle with ALS. She was retired from Dubs Burger and Kreme Delite. She was a longtime active member of the First United Methodist Church. She was also involved with numerous other activities and groups in the community.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Lanier Gordon; her father, Ewell Ray Gordon; and her brother, Ray Lanier Gordon.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Lee Greenhaw of Athens; daughter, Lauraleigh Greenhaw Crownover and husband Keith of Tullahoma, TN; son, Jimmy Lanier Greenhaw and wife Missy of Athens; four grandchildren, Katherine Lee Crownover, Elizabeth James Crownover, Guy Lanier Greenhaw and Benjamin Hunt Greenhaw. She also leaves behind a multitude of loving friends.
