at Farber & Otteman Funeral Home, Sac City, Iowa.

INTERMENT:
Saturday following the memorial service October
03, 2009 at Oakland Cemetery, Sac City, Iowa.

age 68, of Sac City, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2009,
at her home following a courageous
battle with cancer.

BONNIE LOU HENRICH was born in Sac City,
Sac County, Iowa, on February 25, 1941, to
parents MAHLON (BUB) and ARDYTH (FREEMAN) HENRICH.

BONNIE was raised in Sac County, Iowa, and
attended grade school at Douglas Township.
She went on to graduate from Sac High School
with the class of 1959.

BONNIE was raised Methodist and was baptized
and confirmed at Galbraith Methodist Church.

BONNIE married KENNETH ELLIS, in 1959 and was
betrothed to him until his death in 1962.

BONNIE was fortunate to find love again in
DOUGLAS BOERNER and they were united in marriage
on February 9, 1963, in Odebolt, Iowa.
Together they raised two daughters, PAM and PENNY.

While raising her family, BONNIE also worked as a secretary for businesses she and her husband owned.
She was secretary of the Chamber of Commerce
for Sac City,Iowa, for several years, and
also worked as a cashier at Casey's up until her retirement in 2006.

BONNIE had many personal interests which included crocheting, collecting cat figurines, cooking, and fishing. She also enjoyed volunteering for Loring Hospital, playing card club with friends, and
dancing with her husband DOUG.

BONNIE treasured her family, and some of her most unforgettable memories were the birth of her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be
dearly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
