MRS. ELIZA DRUMM DIED THIS MORNING - Was a Former Resident of Johnstown – Born in Germany 80 years ago. Ilion. Aug. 21.—Mrs Eliza Drumm died at the home of her son here at 10:30 o'clock this morning, after an illness of one week. The deceased was born in German y 80 year s ago and the greater part of her life she had lived at Sprakers. Mrs. Drumm came to Ilion about a year ago from Johnstown. She was the wife of the late Jacob Drumm, who died 35 years ago, and is survived by four daughters and seven sons. They are Mrs. Nicholas Glenar, Mrs. Eliza Wertzeck. Mrs. Lucien Snyder, Mrs. Arthur Brothers, all of Johnstown; Peter Drumm of Utica; George, Philip and Nicholas of Ilion; Joseph of Niagara Falls; John and Jacob of Sprakers. The body will be taken to Johnstown.

Obituary of Philip Minch (Eliza's Brother) - Philip Minch, one of Fort Plain's most respected residents, died at the Troy hospital Oct. 8th, from the shock of an operation for strangulated hernia. Deceased was born in Germany but had been a resident of that town for many years. He was seventy-two years of age and is survived by three sons, George, John and Henry, and three daughters, Mrs. Frank Wagner, Mrs. Cora Radford of Fort Plain, and Mrs. George Barshied of this village, and one sister, Mrs. Eliza Drumm of Johnstown. The funeral was held at the German Lutheran church Tuesday afternoon. The above information implies that Philip's daughter, Elisabeth B., married George Barshied and that Cora was married first to a man named Mr. Radford.
