husband of Kathy Ann Hahn married 14 September 2001 in Waynesboro and son of Mary C (Welty) and Willis H Valentine. He was a life long resident of the Waynesboro area.

Mr. Valentine was graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the class of 1959. Following his graduation from high school, Mr. Valentine worked for Landis Machine Company, Waynesboro. He later worked for the Borough of Waynesboro for over 38 years, retiring on August 11, 2003 as the director of the engineering department. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, B.P.O. Elks Lodge #731, Eagles Club, Inc., and Fraternal Order of the Eagles #1758, all of Waynesboro. He was a member and Past Master of Acacia Lodge #586 F. &A.M., Waynesboro and he was a life member of Mechanics Steam Fire Engine & Hose Co., Waynesboro. He is survived by one daughter, Stacey R. Keesee of Fort Hood, TX; three step-daughters, Michelle L. Wile of Fairfield, PA, Erin F. Mong of Waynesboro, and Stephanie M. Richardson of Rouzerville, PA; one step son, Mike L. Wile of Waynesboro; one grandson, John W. Spurlock; three step-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David E. Valentine.
