REBECCA ANN COULTER, 53, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009, 12:55 p.m., at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home on Homestead Road. Born Jan. 1, 1956, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Marilyn (Wehrly/Beam) Wheeler. She attended Francis M. Price, Franklin Jr High and two years at North Side High School; graduated from Central Noble High School in 1974. She served in the U.S. Navy from late 1974 until 1979, and the Naval Reserve from 1991 until 1993. She worked at Verizon Telecommunications for 11 years and Centennial Wireless until retiring in 2008.

Graveside service is 2 p.m. Saturday at Green-lawn Memorial Park, 6600 Covington Road, with a gathering of friends and family one hour prior to the service. Pastor Truman Smith officiating. Preferred memorials to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Arrangements by C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St.
