Mrs Eunice Hersey Aarvig, 92, who died Friday morning, was born Feb 3,1878, in Pontiac Township, a daughter of Elijah and Julia Luglan Schlosser. She was married to Ollie M Aarvig, who died in 1946. Mrs Aarvig was a member of the First United Methodist Church

She is survived by a son Clyde H, of Oklahoma; a sister Mrs Alma Baker, El Paso, Tex; a brother Tom, Chicago, a grandson, 4 great grandchildren and 16 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

The funeral will be Monday at the Behrendt Funeral Home, with the Rev Glenn K Ioder officiating. Burial will be in South Side cemetery.
