Funeral services for Ray Alexander, age 59, of Hillsboro, will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel Palestine, with Pastor Michael Bobbitt officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster. Mr. Alexander passed away Oct. 4, 2009 in Hillsboro. He was born February 17, 1950 in San Antonio, to Jack and Frances Alexander. He was a painter, and liked to fish and hunt. Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Atkins, Geraldine Clark, and Vinita Jean Alexander. He is survived by lifetime companion Glenda Alexander; mother-in-law, Audrie Hendrick; sons, Allen Alexander and wife Melissa , Shawn Alexander, Scott Gordon, and Jason Gordon; sisters, Tonya and Billie Alexander; brothers, Buddy, Rocky, Michael, and Beaurn Alexander; grandchildren, Amanda Schmidt, and Nicholas Alexander.
