She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
She entered the Congregation of the Daughters of St. Francis of Assisi in 1927 in Slovakia, professing her vows on Aug. 15, 1930. She immigrated to the USA in 1946.
She held the office of Provincial Superior of the American Province during the years of 1946 to 1965 and 1985 to 1988. From 1965 until 1971, she had been the first administrator of St. Joseph Nursing Home in Lacon. She was a registered nurse and had worked in the activity department, also.
