Son of William Easley (1800-1867) and 3rd wife, Docia Fanning. Married Amanda Fowler, dau. of Joseph and Nadine (Jones) Fowler 15 Apr 1883 in Benton County, Arkansas. Lived mostly in Pittsburg County, Oklahma. Parents of four children: Charles Franklin, Elmer Jess, Ella Jewell and Robert William Easley.

Benjamin Franklin Easley, the twelfth child of William Easley (the fourth by his marriage to Docia Lynch Fanning) was born Nov. 22, 1854 near War Eagle, Benton County, Arkansas. He died June 2, 1941 near Salinas, Monterey County, Calif. and was buried June 6 1941 in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Salinas. He had a bad heart and lived with his son, Jess Easley, after Amanda, his wife, died in 1936.
About 1939 Jewel Deaton, his daughter, went to Oklahoma to get him and brought him to Salinas where he lived with her and her husband, Able Deaton, until he died.
Ben Easley married Amanda Fowler Apr 15, 1883 in Benton County, Arkansas. (Benton Co. Marriage Bk. B-324). Amanda, daughter of Joseph and Nadine (Jones) Fowler, was born Oct. 22, 1864 near Springdale, Ark. and died June 16, 1936 in Pittsburg county, Okla. and was buried at Red Oak cemetery near Bach, Oklahoma.
Sometime after his marriage in 1883 Benjamin F. Easley moved to Erath County, Texas, where his older brother, Jesse, had settled a few years earlier. Around 1900 he moved to Bache, Oklahoma. All three of his sons are said to have worked in the coal mines at Bache.
According to family tradition, Ben F. Easley was a noted fiddler in his youth. He lost his first finger in an accident while working with cattle and was not able to play after that.
