Mrs. Mary Specht, 72, died Tuesday in the Poudre Valley Memorial Hospital after an illness of about one year. She was born in Weisenmuller, Russia Jul. 19, 1902.
She was married on Jan. 13, 1923, in Greeley, to John Specht. He died June 19, 1965.
Mary moved to Kansas in 1913, from there moved to the Greeley/Windsor area, before coming to Fort Collins. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and Women of the Moose.
She is survived by two sons; four daughters; a sister; four brothers; 12 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
