She was born August 13, 1972 in Cedar City, Utah to Tom and Gay Shakespeare. GayLynn grew up in Cannonville Utah where her father was the park ranger. She spent her childhood camping, fishing, and hunting with her family. GayLynn was a Valedictorian of Bryce Valley High School.
After graduating, she moved to Salt Lake City where she obtained a paralegal degree that she used in Salt Lake City, Cedar City, and Idaho. She returned to Cedar City where she lived until May of 2009. Being a single mom, she moved back to her hometown of Cannonville Utah to be close to family. GayLynn was a loving person and her children were her first priority. She will be missed dearly by her children and family.
She is survived by her two children Jordan age 12 and Jasmine age 9 of Cannonville, Utah, parents Tom and Gay Shakespeare of Cannonville, Utah and brothers Todd, Jeff, Brooke, and David and her sister Cherish Willyerd.
Funeral services will be Saturday September 5, 2009 at noon at the Cannonville Ward Chapel.
Interment will be in the Cannonville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to State Bank of Southern Utah on behalf of GayLynn Shakespeare Cutts.
