The obituary:
Thelma E. Moore, 91, a resident of Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury, died at 3:19 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 3, 2009) in Fairbury.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Pontiac, with the Rev. Spencer Homan of the First Presbyterian Church, Fairbury, officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
Thelma was born Dec. 24, 1917, at Saunemin, a daughter of Walter and Nellie Perrine Baehler. She married E. Howard Moore on Jan. 25, 1940, at Saunemin. He preceded her in death April 26, 2001.
Thelma was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald Baehler, a sister Laura Mae Haag, and a baby sister.
Surviving are 2 sons, 4 daughters, 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Thelma was educated in Saunemin schools and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Saunemin United Methodist Church, Saunemin Methodist Church Ladies and the Livingston County Homemakers Extension.

"True friends are like diamonds, precious and rare.
False ones, like the leaves of the forest, are found everywhere."
