WINNFIELD -- Services for Matt Harvey Longino, 67, of Montgomery were to be at 2 p.m. today in Union Hill Baptist Church near Montgomery with the Revs. Jerry Hext and George Horn officiating. Burial was to be in Mount Zion Cemetery under direction of Southern.

Longino died at 4 p.m. Sunday in Winnfield General Hospital.

He was a native of Grant Parish, a retired automotive mechanic and a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lorena Longino of Montgomery; two sons, Jerry Longino of Montgomery and Donald Longino of Baton Rouge; three daughters, Vertie Lawson, Brenda Ferrier and Charlotte Sharbono, all of Montgomery; two brothers, Bryant Longino of Coushatta and Tommy Longino of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Della Powell and Rolean Lancaster, both of Winnfield, Sylvia Abrose of Killeen, Texas, and Pat Owens of Shreveport; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
