James W. McLain, 93, of Pine Bluffs died January 13 at Life Care Center.
He was born December 19, 1908, in Ripley, IL.
Mr. McLain had been a minister at the Church of God--Abrahamic Faith.
He married Edith E. (Peg) McLain on August 26, 1957, in Alliance, NE.
Mr. McLain is survived by sons, James E. McLain of Burbank, CA, and the Rev. William L. Grant of Antelope, CA; daughters Jean M. Carr of Sun City, CA, April M. Embree of Lancaster, TX, and Susan C. Voss of Pine Bluffs; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maxine McLain; second wife, "Peg" McLain on July 4, 1993; daughters, Mary Lou, Rebecca Jane and Patricia McLain; his parents, Lenville and Alta McLain; and brother the Rev. Alan McLain.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pine Bluffs Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home.
