Funeral services for Patsy Elaine Adams will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2009, in the Sieper Community Church in Sieper with the Rev. Danny George officiating. Committal services will follow in the Fellowship Methodist Cemetery in Hineston under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Ms. Adams, 70, of Otis, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 15, 2009 in Alexandria. She was born on April 1, 1938 to the union of Virgil A. Adams and Inez Perry Adams in San Antonio, Texas. She was a member of the Sieper Community Church, a long time member of the Alexandria Chapter of the American Kennel Club, a Bolton High School graduate, received her B.A. in Elementary Education at Louisiana College, her Masters Plus 30 at Northwestern University and retired as a teacher after 22 years at Oak Hill Elementary School. She also was a loving sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend.

Her parents precedes her in death.

She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory, two sisters, Virgie Brown and Peggy Adams both of Otis; one brother, Robert L. Adams of Lafayette; three nieces; three great nephews; five great nieces and one great-great-niece.

Friends may call today from 5 until 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service in the church.
