J. Albert Taliaferro, one of Gloucester's best known citizens, died at Memorial Hospital, Richmond, Monday, Oct. 25th at 3 a.m., following an illness of more than a year. Funeral services were in Gloucester, at Ware Church, Tuesday at 3:30 p.m., with interment in the churchyard, Rev. Robert A. Magill conducting the service.
Mr. Taliaferro is survived by his widow, Margaret R. Taliaferro; one son, Capt. Phillip B. Taliaferro, U.S.A., now stationed in the Philippines; one sister, Hansford and Richard P. Taliaferro.
