Soliman Lonel "Sol" Miller was the son of Thomas Alexander Miller and Dicie Narcissis Graham. Born on 17 Jun 1862 in Kentucky he grew up in Woods, Jefferson, Kentucky. At the age of 18 in 1880 he Married Cora Isabelle Jones in Kentucky. The two had 3 children, Ewell Thomas Miller, Solomon Reed Miller, and Lucy E Miller. By the 1900 US Census he was widowed (family indicates he was divorced) living with 3 children Ewell, Solomon, and Jannie, a sister Mattie and niece, Lee Odda. In 1901 Soliman married Rosa Curlotta Jones in Kentucky. Soliman and Rosa had 4 children, Bertha or Lucy Miller, Nora Miller, Oscar Love Miller, and Ada Georgene Miller. For most of his life Sol was a farmer, starting in Jefferson Co., Kentucky working on the family farm, to Bulitt Co., Kentucky, to Hardin Co., Kentucky, and finally in Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky, where he died at the age of 86.
