Funeral services were held at the Ingram Ridge Baptist Church on Sunday, November 14 for Marion Ames who died at Presnell Hospital in Kennett on Thursday, November 11, after an illness of one hour.
The Rev. Sid McCullum of Pascola conducted the services and interment was made in Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville. LaForge of Caruthersville directed the services.
Mr. Ames was born Nov. 8, 1901, at Marion, Ky., was 47 years and three days old. He was a well-known farmer of the Ingram Ridge community.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Ames; his daughter, Mrs. Betty Smith of Detroit, Mich., and a son, Herbert, of child, Miss Verna Faye Smith of Detroit.
