Aaron Stroud, 52, died at 2:30 a.m. today in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. He was a native of Atlanta, a veteran of World War II and was a shipping department employe at Texada-Bailey Co. Inc.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fay Jennings Stroud of Alexandria; a son, Cecil Dale Stroud of Alexandria; two step-sons, Larry Rex Howell and Weldon Clay Howell, both of Montgomery; one step-daughter, Miss Linda Lee Howell of Alexandria; two sisters, Mrs. Estelle Neal and Mrs. Sally Hickman, both of Montgomery, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Union Hill Baptist Church, Montgomery, with burial, under direction of Hixson Bros., Alexandria, in the church cemetery.
