Mrs. Hazel Maude Childs died Friday evening at her home. Born in W. Va., on April 16, 1899, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Ella Lipscomb Weekley and had resided in the area since 1944, coming here from West Virginia.

Survivors include four sons, Boyd and Bonnie Weekley, both of Newton Falls, Calvin Arnett of Kingsville Township, and Herbert Arnett of Ashtabula; one daughter, Ruby Pearl Fluharty of Kingsville Township; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Laurel Childs in 1968; one son, Robert Arnett; one daughter, Alla Arnett; eight brothers, and one sister.
