ANTHONY FRITZ
DIXIE, Nicholas County, died July 16, 1990, at home after a long illness.
He was a retired miner and was also retired from the Montgomery. public school system in Rockville, Md. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Moose lodge.
Surviving: daughter, Mrs. Sandra Backus of Dixie; mother, Mrs. Julie Fritz of Ranson; brothers, Paul of Pittsburgh, Jay of Alexandria, Va., Stanley of Avon Park, Fla.; sisters, Mrs. Marilyn Pinson of Harpers Ferry, Mrs. Zelma Robbins of Woodbridge, Va.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with the Rev. Junior Moore officiating.
Burial will be in Simms Cemetery, Swiss. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
