Alfred L. Gunkel, 64, died Monday, Nov. 28, 1994.

Services are pending with Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of El Dorado, Okla., he had been a Borger resident since 1967. He was a retired truck driver for Borger Redi-Mix. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a Baptist and a member of Adobe Walls Lodge No. 1355 and VFW.

Survivors include his wife, Betty of the home; two daughters, Lorrie Gunkel of Borger, Jackie Donnell of LaPorte; a son, Robert Gambel of Yuma, Ariz.; a stepson, Terry Brawner of Azle; a stepdaughter, Jackie Brawner of Springtown; a brother, W.T. Jones of Baytown; two sisters, Helen Clack of Borger, and Inez Price of Stinnett; and ten grandchildren.

The family will be staying at 32 Golf Course Rd.

Funeral services for Alfred L. Gunkel, 64, Borger, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Johnson Park Church of Christ with Zeb Sailors, minister of Stinnett Church of Christ, officiating.

Masonic graveside rites will be under the auspices of Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge No. 1355 conducted by Blake Larramore of Pampa. Military honors will be by Altus Air Force Base Honor Guard.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
