MRS. VIOLA VERRETTE AHEARN, 69, of 202 W. Yates St., East Syracuse, died yesterday at her home. Born in Syracuse, she was an East Syracuse resident 25 years. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Guild and a former member of the Collamer Card Club. Surviving are her husband, Joseph F. Ahearn; four sons, Robert of East Syracuse, Raymond of Minoa, James of Bridgeport, and Richard Ahearn of Milwaukee, Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Loretta Goff of East Syracuse; and two brothers, Ernest and Leo Verrette. Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Delaney and Greabell Funeral Home, 241 Kinne St., East Syracuse and at 9 a.m. in St. Matthew’s Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Minoa. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
