Teresa (Terri) Lynn (Fox) Beck was born June 13, 1955, at St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Dalton Donald Fox and Jerry Anne (Reed) Fox. She departed this life on Sept. 7, 2009, at St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View, Mo., at the age of 54 years. Terri was united in marriage to Bruce Larkin in 1974, and to this union, one son was born. She was later united to Dennis Huff and to this union, was born one son, and one daughter, Rachel Denise Huff. Terri was preceded in death by her father, Dalton Fox, when she was 3 years old. Her mother later married Elmer Black, who raised her from the time she was 6 years old. Elmer preceded her in death in the late 1980s. Her mother, Jerry Black, preceded her in death in 2007.
Terri spent her childhood in Fremont, Mo., and Uravan, Colo. She graduated high school from Van Buren, Mo., in 1973 and later graduated from Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff. She later worked for Missouri Employers Mutual at the state department. Terri enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved hunting, backroading and listening to music. Terri especially loved spending time with her only grandchild, who was truly a ray of sunshine in her life. Graveside services were held Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at Freeman Cemetery at Fremont, Mo. Arrangements were under the direction of Duncan Funeral Home of Winona.
