On June 7, 2006, angels came to call home our beloved grandmother, mother, and friend, Joyce Brinkerhoff Snow. After several months of illness, she passed away quietly, surrounded by those who loved, and will miss her most.

Born February 12, 1926 in Emery, Utah to Floyd Brinkerhoff and Surelda Hansen.

Joyce found the love of her life in Bazel C. Snow. They were married on June 27, 1949 and enjoyed 40 years of blissful marriage. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and Bazel, most assuredly, has welcomed her joyfully.

Before her dual career as a waitress at the Alta Club, and later Optician at Benson Optical, it is worth noting that Joyce aspired to honor her country as a Marine, but was turned away due to being underage.

Upon this earth now, Joyce will be missed by her son, Kenny; her daughters, Debbie (Doug) Fabbri, Maureen (Jim) Wilson and Sherrie (Randy) Dahl; 10 grandchildren; 11 1/2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kay (Maxine) and Kirk (Joan) Brinkerhoff; sisters, Sheila Davis and Judy (Gary) Jensen. Along with Bazel, Joyce will be welcomed into God's Kingdom by her parents, her sister, Betty, and her brothers, Reese and Hazen.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 12 noon in the Kearns Sixth Ward Chapel, 4260 West Sams Boulevard (5215 South). A viewing will be held on Friday, June 9, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and on Saturday at the Church one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
