The funeral for Mrs. Mollie Ozella Golden, 77, of Opelika, will be Sunday, August 13, 1995, at 2 p.m. at Jeffcoat Chapel. Burial will follow in the Society Hill Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Golden, who died August 11, 1995, at the East Alabama Medical Center, was born Jan. 22, 1918, in Five Points (Transcriber Note: Chambers Co, AL). She later moved to Opelika. She had been employed at the Blossom Shop fo 14 years, was a nurses aid at the East Alabama Medical Center for 16 years, and a nurse at Dr. Hemmelwright Internal Medicine Clinic for nine years.
Mrs. Golden was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Gloden, ana a son, Clyde Randall Golden. She is survived by a son, Andy Golden of Opelika; a daughter, Joyce Sistrunk of Society Hill; a daughter-in-law, Susan Golden of Roanoke (Transcriber Note: Randall Golden's wife); ten grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Nell Stewart of Lafayette, Mamye Pope of Phenix City and Gladys Yancy of California.
