Barbara was born on July 5, 1941 at Oslo, Minnesota the daughter of John and Eva (Ebertowski) Batko. She graduated from Oslo High School in 1959 and went on to attend business school in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. She married Charles Boushee in December of 1960 at Oslo, Minnesota. She moved to EGF in 1966 and then to Farmington, NM in 1997. Barbara returned to Fargo, ND in 1999. She has worked as a bookkeeper at Valley Auto, Simonson Lumber, George Bushy Potato Co., Red River Dispatch, National Food Marketing, Listen Drop in Center and most recently had been working for K-Mart.
