Timothy Allan Deming, born Sept. 17, 1956 at Charlevoix Area Hospital, son of Calvin C. and Helen (Schmidt) Deming, died July 18, 2000 at his home.

Tim graduated from Boyne City High School in 1975.
He was employed at Courter's (Now Honeywell) since 1977 (23 years) as a set up and lead and tool and gauge. specialist.

He was a member of the UAW Local 1403, a member of the Eagles Organization and a licensed pyrotechnic affiliated with Independence Pryotechnics Team. He also belonged to the National Rifle Association. He attended Boyne City United Methodist Church.

Besides his family he loved fireworks, cars, hunting, and target practice and cooking. His cuisine was well known both his family and at his workplace.

Survivors include his children, Jason Timothy Deming, Liane Marie Deming, and Barbara Jean Deming. Other survivors include his parents; brothers, Kevin (Oreen) Deming, Craig (Darlene) Deming; sister Lynn (Andrick)(Michael) Shaw; and former wife and best friend, Mary (Deming) Goy; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and special friends, Bobby and Dennis Lehto.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Pearl Schmidt and Maude (Deming) Towne and Delbert Towne.
He will be greatly missed by his family and his friends.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday July 22 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Pastor carl Litchfield of the Boyne City United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery Boyne City.
