Miss Winifred Buskey
Miss Winifred H. Buskey, 88, a former Bristol resident who for the past few years lived at the Pierce Memorial Home in Brooklyn, died Sunday at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam.
She was born in Montgomery Center, Vt., and came to Bristol at an early age.
She became a member of the Bristol Baptist Church 72 years ago.
She leaves a brother, Kendal M. Buskey of East Swantom (sic), Vt. and a sister, Mrs. Tessa A. Downs of Columbus, Pa.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Young Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., with the Rev. Ronald H. Webb, pastor of the Brisol (sic) Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in West Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Pierce Memorial Home.
