SENATOBIA - Herbert Leon Boling, 81, a signal maintainer for Illinois Central Railroad, died of heart failure Friday at Senatobia Community Hospital.

Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Wells Funeral Home with burial in Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation is 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Boling was a Tate County native. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include: daughter, Virginia Derrington of Nesbit; sons, Herb Boling Jr. of Carrolton, Texas, and Bret Boling of Memphis; sister, Florence Morris of Senatobia; brothers, George Boling of Senatobia and Elvis Boling of Vicksburg; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
