Born October 14, 1921, in Red Lion, a son of the late William H. and Bertha (Dehoff) Barley.
He was retired from Goodyear and was a U.S. Army Air Force Veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Shippensburg American Legion.
Mr. Barley is survived by a daughter, Shannon I. Kauffman and her husband, Palmer of Thomasville; two sons, William H. Barley, Jr. and his wife, Rosalie of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Gregory K. Barley and his wife, Burnita of Raleigh, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Norma L. Krepps of York.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, September 20, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, Shiloh, with flag presentation by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Officiating will be the Rev. Ryan M. Miller, Chaplain of The Village of Laurel Run. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m.
Burial will be in Yoe Union Cemetery.
