Freda June Dahl, age 70, passed away peacefully, March 4, 2001, at her home in Fernbridge with her loving husband David, by her side.
Freda was born June 14, 1930, to the late Ida Curtis Dix and Rolland Edgar Dix in Centralla, Washington. She attended school in Oakville, Washington and had recently attended her 50th class reunion.
After marrying David Dahl, May 6, 1947 in Centralla, they moved to Carlotta California and raised their family of seven children, in 1968 David and Freda moved their family to Fernbridge and Freda, having all her children in school, returned to school herself. She graduated from college of the Redwoods in 1975 and went to work at Sunset Convalescent Hospital as an LVN, retiring in 1979.
Freda is survived by her husband David Dahl of 54 years; her sons Boyd Dahl and wife Sharon of Myrtle Creek, OR., and David Dahl Jr. of Fernbridge: her daughters Shelli Johnson and husband Glenn of Eureka, CA, Valerie Allen and husband Mike of Fernbridge, Audrey Gallagher and husband Tim of Eureka, and Dawnetta Cobb and husband Mark of Loleta. Her grandchildren Cory,Travis,Stacey,Kacie,Nicole,Brandon,Ryan,John,
Matthew,Haley,Sarah,Damen,Dustin,Clinton,Nathan, and Bradley; and nine great grandchildren also survive Freda.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, her parents and son, Gregory Dahl.
