Mr. Altman died at his residence in Fairfield CA after a short illness. A native of California, he had lived in Fairfield for the past 18 years. He served in the US Air Force for 26 years and retired from Exxon refinery work in 1986 after 16 years.
Survivors include his wife of Fairfield; three sons of Sacramento, Oxnard and Fairfield; two brothers of McArthur and Missouri; and a granddaughter of Santa Maria.
