Confederate Soldier. Levi Daniel Eiland served in Company A, 18th Alabama Infantry, Bullock Guards, Coffee County, Alabama. His first marriage was to Miss Polly Ann Pippett about 1841 in Alabama. After Polly passed away, Levi married Miss Lydia Ann Whatley in about 1852 in Alabama. The couple moved their family from Alabama to Pasco County, Florida between 1874 and 1875, Levi constructed two water mills in used to grind meal.
