BANKHEAD FUNERAL IS HELD AT CHICOTA
Last rites for John W. Bankhead, 75, who died Monday morning at the home of his son, E. B. Bankhead at Chicota, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church of Chicota. The Rev. L. E. Shackelford conducted the services. Burial was at the Forest Chapel cemetery.
Surviving Mr. Bankhead are his widow, Mrs. Liza Bell Bankhead of Chicota; three sons, E. M. Bankhead of Honey Grove, E. R. Bankhead of Chicota and Clyde Bankhead of Cunningham; three daughters, Mr. Virige McGee of Dodd City, Mrs. Willie Knight of Lubbock, Mrs. Fannie Williams of Estelline, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Nan Hurdle of Jacksonville, Miss., and a brother, Bob Bankhead of Seymour.
