Albert (Bert) Arbogast went to be with his Lord on August 24, 2009 after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer. He was born in Ypsilanti on August 22, 1939 to Loree and Grace (Martin) Arbogast. He married Kathryn (Kay) Stas-kievitz April 15, 1972. Kay's three sons adopted Bert as their father. He was employed as a police officer at Eastern Michigan University for 30 years. He was a member of the Michigan National Guard for 6 years.In 1974 Bert moved the family to Whitmore Lake MI where they lived for 23 years. Then they moved to Jackson MI for 10 years. Bert loved the outdoors: hunting, fishing boating snowmobiling, gardening and sitting around a bon fire. He moved to Cape Coral FL in 2007.
