LORENE ALLISON
ADA - Services for Lorene L. Allison, 91, Ada, are 2 p.m. Saturday at Criswell
Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Mike Wade officiating. Burial follows at East
Hill Cemetery, Roff.
Mrs. Allison died June 15, 2006, at a Denison, Texas hospital. She was born
July 12, 1914, at Reagan, Okla. to James and Ollie Mae Hicks Lovett. She lived
in the Bromide, Okla. area most her life and moved to Ada after her husband's
retirement.
She married Joe Gandy Allison Nov. 17, 1929. Mrs. Allison was a homemaker and a
member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lenora Hall; and a grandson, Mike
Hall.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Allison and wife Debbie, Plano, Texas, and
Walter Allison, Norman; two daughters, Ollie Cook and husband Bill, Atoka, and
Carolyn Dosier and husband Ed, Sherman, Texas; grandchildren, Stephen Cook,
Connie Dukes, Duane Marks, Kenneth Allison, Linda Fox and Debbie Freeman;
several great-grandchildren and a sister Christine Simmington, Corsicana,
Texas.
