Mary Ann Blow was the oldest child of 11 born to James G Blow and Sarah Ann Darden. She married Robert Kemp Sept 23, 1858 Carroll County, Mississippi. James H Kemp, their only child was born Abt. July, 1860. Robert joined the civil war and came home on furlough for a brief time. After his return to duty, he never came home again. Speculation was he died during the war but other information suggests he started another family. At this time, I am still looking. Robert was my 2nd great grandfather.
Mary never remarried. Each census, she is found in the household of her sisters. 1900 she is living with her sister, Ollie Blow Hendon. Ollie died before the next census but Mary is still with her family in 1910. Mary died 1927.

Tommie Hendon was James Grey Blow's grandson. Olivia "Ollie" Blow married Thomas O Hendon and had Norris and Thomas Hendon Jr. Ollie died around 1902 when Thomas was less than two years old. His grandmother Sarah A Blow 86 and Aunt Mary A Blow Kemp were living with them in 1900. The 1910 census shows only his aunt Mary Ann Kemp. (Information from Skippersgirl)
