Michael A. Addabbo Jr., 50, of Solvay, passed away Monday at his home. He was a 1974 graduate of West Side Catholic at St. Patrick's, and was employed by Clinton's Ditch Coop. Mike was an avid golfer and played in several leagues. He was an active member of the Tyrol Club, a NASCAR and Yankee fan, and loved to cook. He is survived by his children, Eric and Elyse of Lakeland; his parents, Mike Sr. and Joanne Addabbo of Syracuse; two sisters, Karen (Mark) Merrill of Solvay and Ann (Marty) Barrett of Syracuse; one brother, Joe (Nancy) Addabbo of Onondaga Hill; two nephews, Chris and Mark; three nieces, Maria, Michelle and Suzanne; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Our son, father, brother, uncle and friend will truly be missed by all. Your smile and jokes have left us with a void that can only be filled with your cherished memory.
Services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., and 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lakeland. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
