Ruby Reed Cain, 86, widow of Lucas N. Cain, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Bishop Davies Nursing Center in Hurst, Texas.
Graveside funeral services, directed by Graham Funeral Home, will be held Saturday, May 27th at 10:00 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Wayne Ellis.
Mrs. Cain was born October 7, 1919, in Scottsville, Virginia, a daughter of the late Luther Reed and the late Eva Frances Frye Reed.
She was a retired registered nurse. She was of the Baptist faith and had attended Screven Baptist Church of Georgetown. She enjoyed working with flowers and enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are; two sons, Jack Cain and his wife, Pat of Grapevine, Texas, and Preston Cain of Charleston; one sister-in-law, Jane Reed of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Tricia Spurrier of Fort Worth, Texas and Nathan Cain of Grapevine, Texas; and two great grandchildren, Amanda Cain and Caroline Spurrier, of Forth Worth, Texas.
